The Latvian women’s national unit includes two goalkeepers, seven guards and 12 attackers. The team also includes Canadian-born striker Krista Jipa-Čaka, who has acquired Latvian citizenship. He also represented his national team in 2018, scoring three points in five games.
The Latvian women’s team will start on Sunday, when the World Championships in the second division of Group A 21:00 will fight against the housewife Spain. On April 5, our team will have a match (17:00) against the Mexican team, a day later Latvia will meet (17:00) against Taiwan, but the tournament will end on April 8 at 17:00 with a game against Great Britain.
Head coach Miks Golubovičs will be assisted by Laila Dekmeijere-Trigubova and Vladislav Koniševs in working with the women’s team in this world championship.
Only the winner of the group will enter the B division of the first division of the World Championship.
