Guérigny. The Forges tournament taken by storm. As in many other sports, the return to current affairs has been a great success in judo, after two years of deprivation. The annual tournament, organized by the local section chaired by Isabelle Tachon, was no exception to the rule, with nearly three hundred and twenty entries over two days, from twelve Nivernais clubs. A nice surprise and great satisfaction for Pierre-Ange Tachon, Asgu coach and project manager for the weekend.

Saturday afternoon, the tournament was opened by the pre-chicks (born in 2014 and 2015), with individual confrontations, before the awakenings (2016 to 2018) returned to the tatami, in front of a considerable crowd of parents. On the program, playful warm-up, exercises for falls, opposition games and free fights, all amidst the laughter of adults and children.

Sunday, the categories chicks (2012-2013) and the youngest (2011-2012) chained the individual oppositions. Among the youngest, the clashes took place only by hens, some of which were won by judokas from Asgu: Eloïse Arnauld, Enzo Moureaux, Melvin Renault and Nina Surelle.

Three challenges were also at stake, all won by the Cosne-sur-Loire club, with the greatest number of entries in 6-8 year olds, and first steps of the podium, in 9-10 and 10-12 year olds. . A title that the people of Loire will have to put back into play next year.

Boys (38 kg): 1. Aziz Khatoyan (Vauzelles); 2. Mayning Sebelone (Nivernais Dojo); 3. Lino Souday (Asgu) and Lucas Hémery (Cosne).

Boys (50 kg): 1. Timothy Muller (Fourchambault); 2. Evan Savignat (Vauzelles); 3. Antonin Guerut (Cercy) and Mouhammed Amriev (Dojo Nivernais).

Boys (55 kg): Milton Guillot (Cosne).

Boys (66 kg): Eliot Dangleterre (Cosne).
