After the title of Academy champions for volleyball players and the qualification of volleyball players for the inter-academic finals in Sète this Thursday, April 20 (qualifiers for the French championships), it was the high school badistes who distinguished themselves during the departmental finals.
Team 1 obtained the bronze medal but only failed by 2 points against the first (58 to 60 for Lavaur) and by 7 points against the 2nd (53 to 60 for Rascol ALBI)
Team 2 was decided at goal average and finished 6th.
Despite this period of Covid for two years, the high school sports association has seen its number of licensees explode, going from 71 in 2020 to 120 this year. Indeed, the physical education and sports team, concerned about the maintenance and development of the health of its students, has been heavily invested in offering continuity in the practice of weekly physical and sports activities: volleyball, badminton, climbing. It also organized more festive events such as the teacher/student tournament, the private night party at the Castres ice rink and the paintball and beach outing in Gruissan.
