The NFL will hold a vaccination clinic during Super Bowl activities

LOS ANGELES — The NFL has partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic during the Super Bowl Experience.

The NFL made the announcement on Tuesday, noting that the clinic will be located at the Los Angeles Convention Center and that appointments are encouraged.

Fans who receive a dose of the vaccine at the clinic will receive a free ticket to the Super Bowl experience. Tickets are redeemable on the day of the vaccination or for a later date when the interactive soccer theme park will be operational. Fans five years and older are eligible.

“Our partnership with the NFL allows people to come together safely and experience the best of American football,” said Dr. Barbara Ferrer, director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, in a statement. Simple public health measures, including vaccinations, testing, mask-wearing and hand hygiene, allow so many to benefit from this experience. »

The Super Bowl Experience will take place February 5-6 and February 10-12. If fans are unable to meet full vaccination requirements prior to entry, the NFL has partnered with Medea Testing Solutions to provide free rapid antigen testing for COVID-19.

The NFL encourages anyone traveling to Los Angeles for Super Bowl activities to have up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster dose, if eligible.
