The ranking of top European scorers returns this Monday for the 23rd report of the season. This concerns the scorers who have raged in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. And as often, we find Robert Lewandowski in the lead. The Polish striker with 31 goals in 28 matches has remained silent against Freiburg (4-1), but retains a big lead over the competition.

Just behind, we find Deniz Undav with 25 goals in 32 matches. The German striker from Union Saint-Gilloise did not score against Standard de Liège despite the victory of his team (3-1). The gap with Robert Lewandowski remains significant. The podium is completed by a Frenchman. Author of a double against Celta de Vigo (2-1) on two penalties, Karim Benzema consolidates his third place. With 24 goals in 26 matches, the Real Madrid striker continues his strong comeback.

Darwin Núñez se replace

Michael Frey with 22 goals in 32 matches fails at the foot of the podium. The Antwerp striker, however, remained silent on Saturday against Leuven in a 1-0 victory for his side. Fifth, Darwin Núñez moves up the rankings. The Benfica striker stood out with a goal against Braga despite losing 3-2 last Friday. He now has 21 goals in 23 matches. It’s a little better than Ciro Immobile who comes sixth with 21 goals in 26 matches. The transalpine striker did not score last Saturday against Sassuolo (2-1).

Dušan Vlahovic drops back to seventh place and didn’t score yesterday against Inter Milan in a 1-0 loss. His record remains interesting with 21 goals in 29 matches. Back on the field last Saturday against Hertha Berlin (2-1), Patrik Schick has not yet found the net and remains stuck at 20 goals in 21 matches. Ninth, Sébastien Haller did not score with Ajax Amsterdam against Groningen (3-1) and has 20 goals in 25 matches.

Also effective, but with more playing time, Mohamed Salah did not score against Watford (2-0). The Egyptian comes in tenth place. At the gates of the top 10, we find Paul Onuachu (Genk) who fails with 19 goals. He is a short head ahead of Wissam Ben Yedder (Monaco) and his 18 goals. Jordan Siebatcheu (Young Boys), Martin Terrier (Stade Rennais), Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain) and Jelle Vossen (Zulte Waregem) follow further with 17 goals.
