After the success of last week in which the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club managed to maintain its place in the Primera Nacional B league, this weekend the players from Soria resume activity with competitions, in this case, individually. The smallest will take on special prominence with two competitions in the Cantabrian town of Solares and in Burgos.
In Solares, the Territorial Master of Cantabria will take place for sub13 and sub17 players. There will be eight young people who attend. Within the sub-17 will participate: Jorge Ayllón and Adrián Diez while in the sub-13 categories: Naroa Alvaro, Jimena Ayllón, Aarón Barrera, Alvaro Gómez, Iker González and Daniel Marín. All of them will do it in the individual and doubles modalities trying to achieve a medal in a season in which most of them debut in their category.
On Sunday, another six youngsters from the club will go to Burgos, in this case, for the dispute of a territorial test also included in the calendar of the Spanish Federation. They will be from the game within the sub-19 category: Daniela Corchón, Alonso García, Ana Peñaranda and María Clara Tomsa. With regard to the sub15 category, they will participate: Isabel Corchón and Carmen Gómez.
Finally, part of the senior players of the Soria Badminton Club, Manuel Acero, David Hernansanz and Santiago Martínez will travel to Morata de Tajuña, in Madrid, where they will compete in the event organized by the Madrid Federation. The three Sorianos leave for Madrid with the intention of returning with a good number of medals.
