Will they be able, like a year ago, to get their hands on a big name, and try to relaunch thanks to him after a difficult season? Nothing is less sure. The US media, however, explains its reasoning, according to which this deal could indeed happen. Thus, given the impasse in which they find themselves, and the failure of the LeBron / Westbrook duo, the Lakers could thus begin a reconstruction. Ben Simmons could in this case feed the Brodie and Anthony Davis, while providing a welcome touch of defense for the Purple & Gold.
On the other side of the country, Brooklyn would thus set up one of, if not the most formidable and frightening Big Three in history, composed of LBJ, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. At the same time, they would remove all doubts surrounding Simmons’ health, and provide KD with a superstar capable of giving him a third title before he begins his decline.
Even with all these arguments, only one observation emerges from all this fiction: the editors of Fadeaway World do not lack imagination, and even less nerve!
