“It is a great effort to take care of Mexican tennis. A great team has been formed to launch a tournament this big. UTR is an effort of the players themselves who are trying to give tennis players the opportunity to play at least 4 or 5 games in a week”, said tournament director Javier Gaitán Estrada.
The event will have a juicy bag to distribute of $25,000 dollarsso the champion will take away $3,700 dollars, while the automatic participants have already secured $400.
Notably the UTR circuit stops do not award points in the ATP rankingthe body is accounting for its own points system.
