Santiago de Cali, April 21, 2022. After an outstanding participation in the I Cali-Valle Junior Pan American Games, young athletes from 14 to 18 years of age from the continent are preparing to start the III South American Youth Games, a multi-sport event that will be held in the city of Rosario in Argentina.
From April 28 to May 8, 2022, the meeting organized by the South American Sports Organization will be held with athletes from 15 countries in South America, the Caribbean and Central America. There will be 26 sports disciplines on stage, where the Colombian delegation will seek to reach the top of the podium with the sum of the talent of 35 Valle del Cauca athletes who stand out in disciplines such as fencing, judo, karate-do, figure skating, speed skating, lifting weight training, athletics, table tennis, field tennis, boxing, rugby, swimming and wrestling.
