Representatives of a sector of the fans of the Sports Independent Medellin and of Deportivo Cali they signed a non-aggression and coexistence pactafter a series of conflicts and aggressions, inside and outside the stadiums of Colombia, during the last years.
This agreement of understanding occurred after the increase in hostile activities related to the theft of flags, provocations on social networks, confrontations on the highways and in the stadiums of Medellin and Palmyra.
“That security, that conscience, permeates the values of an entire Colombian society and the entire sports society,” said the High Commissioner for Peace, Juan Camilo Restrepo who led the signing of the agreement.

The non-aggression pact was signed under three transversal components: forgiveness, recognition of the other and respect. These lines will make it possible to advance in ways of building a generalized and collective peace, not only between these two fans, but between all those who support and accompany the Colombian professional soccer clubs.
Likewise, this meeting takes place prior to the National Commission for Safety, Comfort and Coexistence in Soccer, who presides over Ministry of the Interior and the Technical Secretariat of the Ministry of Sport, which will take place on April 12. This instance is made up of eight institutions, between public and private, to address issues related to the spectacle of football.
