It has now been several decades since Tom Hanks is one of the most popular and talented actors in Hollywood. And a priori, it is not over! The actor of‘Inferno (alongsideOmar Sywhich had crazy pressure on set) will do soon the event on the Croisettewith Elvis from Baz Luhrmann. Always at the height of his popularity, Tom Hanks had fun last weekend, participating in the home opener of the Cleveland baseball team. And when he appeared on the lawn of the field, the actor of Alone in the world was not… alone, indeed!
A companion to fight loneliness
Come to throw the first ball, role often offered to personalities, Tom Hanks therefore appeared with a ball in his arms. And not just any ball. A flap balloon with a bloody handprint on one side… Wilson! To anyone who has seen the movie Alone in the world, there is no need to say more. Because no one has been able to forget this inert and mute character to whom attaches the castaway camped by Tom Hanks to fight against loneliness. And above all, no one could forget the overwhelming sequence during which Tom Hanks loses Wilson. And it is probably in these few scenes that the actor with two Oscars (any other info about him? It’s this way) wanted to pay a fun tribute on the pitch.
A recalcitrant ball
Indeed, after crossing the field with Wilson in one arm, Tom Hanks puts him at his feet and is about to throw the first ball. But the teasing Wilson starts rolling and moving away from him. Tom Hanks then interrupts himself to catch the recalcitrant ball and put it back in the middle… Except that Wilson is not long in resuming his escape! And yes. As the commentator (and the spectators) seems to notice, everything was already planned. Wilson is probably radio controlled. Nevertheless, this sequence will have succeeded in the not easy challenge of moving and then entertaining the public in just a few minutes. What a talent, this Tom Hanks!
