The French referee has been appointed to referee the Champions League quarter-final between Chelsea and Real Madrid.
On the lawns of Ligue 1 this weekend during the clash between Saint-Etienne and Marseille, Clément Turpin will bring out the whistle in the middle of the week. The French referee was appointed by UEFA to officiate during the clash between Chelsea and Real Madrid this Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.
Clément Turpin has already refereed five times this season in the Champions League. The 39-year-old Frenchman already whistled in the round of 16 of the competition, during the return match between Bayern and Salzburg. In five games, the referee issued 15 warnings and three red cards. All three sent offs in the same game. It was between Porto and Atletico on December 7.
