Ajax is going to play a charity match against the Ukrainian Dynamo Kiev. The Eastern European club makes this known through its official channels† The friendly match will be played under the motto: ‘Match for Peace! Stop the War!’
The aim of the friendly competition is to inform the world about the war that is taking place in Ukraine and to raise money to support the country and its people. It is not yet known when Ajax will play against Dynamo, but the match will take place somewhere between April and June.

In addition to Ajax, Dynamo also plays practice matches against more European teams. They also play against Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, FC Basel, Steaua Bucharest and Legia Warsaw.
All Dynamo friendlies are broadcast on both Ukrainian and European TV channels. In addition to the competitions, Ukrainian artists also participate in the charitable mission.
Update – 2:50 PM (April 1, 2022) – Report on charity match against Dynamo Kiev incorrect
The reporting about a charity match between Dynamo Kiev and Ajax is incorrect. The Amsterdam club will not play a game against the top club from Ukraine. It is currently unclear how Ajax has been added to the list of practice opponents of Dynamo Kiev, but it is certain that there will be no friendly match between the two clubs.
