Volleyball – Herrsching without Peter – Sport

Herrsching’s outside gripper Tim Peter is moving to the United Volleys in Frankfurt. The Frankfurt announced on Friday. After five years at WWK Volleys Herrsching, where he matured into a leading figure and one of the most important attackers, the 24-year-old is moving to the more highly rated competitor in Hesse. It was there that the then 16-year-old started his volleyball career in 2013 at the boarding school in Frankfurt. “I’m really looking forward to next season in Frankfurt and to working with the team. The team is also one of the main reasons why I chose Frankfurt,” said Peter: “I would like to play at least one final .” Peter is currently still working on his bachelor thesis, in the summer he will play at the Universiade in China if he is nominated.

His coach there would be an old acquaintance: Max Hauser, Herrsching’s coach for eight years, will take over the U23 men of the German Volleyball Association (DVV) this summer. Hauser will therefore also take part in the Universiade in Chengdu in June with this B national team. “I’m looking forward to my first major international event as coach of a national team. I prefer working with players under the age of 25. The courses will be busy but also positive. At the end there will be a hopefully successful Universiade in Chengdu and improved young German players.” , said the 38-year-old in a statement from the association. DVV sports director Christian Dünnes was happy “that we were able to win Max Hauser for the summer of 2022 and our U23 selection”. In Group B, the Germans meet Chinese Taipei, Cyprus, USA, Argentina, Japan and Portugal.
