The pre-selected Chiapas Arantxa Isabella Escobar Rodas, is waiting for the last call for the concentration that the National Team Commission of ADEMEBA Mexico will send her, in venue and dates to be confirmed, where the Mexican Basketball Team U17-U18 will take place, heading to international events.
In an interview with the native of Tapachula, she highlighted her National Selection process, which began in August 2021 and so far this year, having the venues of (1) Guanajuato and Zacatecas, (2) Querétaro, (3) Veracruz and (4) Sinaloa.
He revealed that after four concentrations that have been required by the National Selection Commission of ADEMEBA Mexico, it has been hard work, with sacrifice, discipline and desire to do things, for which he recalled that at the beginning there were 30 players summoned from all the country and now there are only 15 left, so they wait for the last filter to know who will be the ones that will make up the Mexican U17-U18 Women’s Basketball Team.
He emphasized that during the last concentration they held in the state of Sinaloa, the work was intense, where they trained the game system that will be applied in the next international event, while noting that they will continue to practice this to correct errors and be able to arrive in better conditions to the last filter, where everything will be decided.
She stressed that seeking to wear the Mexico shirt is a responsibility and is a great motivation, because everything learned is being put into it on the field and in each of the concentrations, where it is sought to leave the best, to be able to be summoned to represent the country in international events.
Finally, Escobar Rodas recognized the work that the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (ADEMEBA) of Chiapas has been doing, where local players are being projected to the national teams, while noting that he has taken advantage of this great opportunity to be in a National pre-selective in search of a place in the Tricolor.
