Ducati and Yamaha became the team that lost the most cargo from equipment delays MotoGP Argentina 2022 at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, Sunday (3/4).
MotoGP Argentina experienced problems due to the logistics of a number of MotoGP teams not arriving on time. As a result of the delay, the Argentina MotoGP schedule has changed with the cancellation of the first day’s schedule, Friday (1/4).
Quoted from Speedweekthe factory team KTM lost 7 boxes, Yamaha and Ducati 10 boxes, Tech3 lost two Raul Fernandez bikes, while VR46 and Gresini lost all equipment.
“We lost 10 boxes,” said Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti.
According to Ciabatti, currently his party is still waiting for the equipment belonging to the two drivers, Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia.
“But we have received all the motors and engines. We lost the spare parts, part of the paddock decoration, and the complete equipment box,” said Ciabatti who hoped all the equipment would arrive on Saturday (2/4).

In the report explained, all the lost items will arrive in Tucuman, Argentina on Friday evening local time.
The delay in the goods was due to the cargo plane having to first land in Lagos, Nigeria, then refuel in Brazil, before continuing its journey to Argentina.

The delay of the items in Termas will overwhelm the paddock officials of each team. Setting up the paddock takes about 12 hours, depending on the amount of cargo lost.
