(undated) – Student athletes from Switzerland, the Rising Sun, Milan and South Ripley received weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference.
The ORVC report for April 11-16 was released on Wednesday.
Brice Turner of the Province of Switzerland is the recipient of the ORVC Baseball Player of the Week award. The Pacers star accumulated 6 hits, 6 runs, 6 RBI points, a double, a home run and a steal base in three games.
This week’s ORVC Softball Player went to Cora Poling. The Rising Sun Senior has 9 hits, 6 RBI, 3 runs and 2 doubles in three games. Bowling also went 2-0 in the shooting circle, writing off 8 of 10 runs.
Fellow shiner, Casey Fletcher received the ORVC Boys Golfer of the Week award. Fletcher combed a (37) into links in the Rising Sun.
