The first tournament of the Kanto Women’s Baseball League was held in 2002 with the aim of promoting women’s baseball. This year, 15 teams from the prefecture will participate.
This season, it will be held in four categories: Venus League, Sunday League (held on Sundays and holidays), Mazda Ball Cup (high school), and Hochi Shimbun Cup (junior high school). The top four Venus League teams and the top two Sunday League teams compete for the Giants Cup in a tournament. 15 teams in Saitama Prefecture will participate in each category.
