World Cup Without Italy, Shame

Jakarta

Kaka, a former AC Milan player, gave sharp and firm comments for Italy who failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. For him, it was like an alarm for Pizza Country football!

Italy failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, having lost to North Macedonia in the playoff semifinals with a score of 0-1. For two consecutive editions, Italy has been absent from the four-year event.

Even ironically, Italy had won Euro 2020. So now, Jorginho et al can only sit back as spectators.

Reported from Football Italia, Ricardo Kaka, a former AC Milan player, was asked to comment on Italy’s failure. Kaka gave a scathing comment that was firm and short!

“A World Cup without Italy is a shame,” he said.

“I feel sad for Italy to be eliminated. This is an alarm for Italian football,” he said.

Italy is considered not to have a good regeneration. There are still many residents of the Gli Azzurri squad who are senior players.

Italy coach, Roberto Mancini also wants to make a squad overhaul. He firmly stated, will give more confidence to the young players!

“We will include young players in the national team, with the hope that they will also have the opportunity to appear at their clubs. We start from here, then we will see what to do in a more general context,” said Mancini, quoted Sky Sports Italia.

“The current team, with a few additions, can actually play in the World Cup and win it. We will make an insertion in the Nations League in June. We also have to start preparations for the 2024 European Cup qualifiers,” he concluded.
