WTA > Swiatek is already following in the footsteps of Serena and Venus Williams

After lining up a 20e rank success this Wednesday by beating very easily the German qualifier Eva Lys (6-1, 6-1), in the round of 16 of the Stuttgart tournament, Iga Swiatek is already walking in the footsteps of the two legends that are the Williams sisters.

Indeed, the Pole has become the third youngest player to glean 20 games in a row since the beginning of the 2000s. If she is only a short length from Venus and her 21 straight wins in 2002, she will nevertheless have to whip to join or beat the 35 consecutive successes of Serena in 2000.
