Netflix unveils a novelty Febrile activity trailer showing Adam Sandler exploiting his dramatic skills as a basketball explorer by inspiring a future star. The sports drama revolves around Stanley Beren, an unlucky scout who travels endlessly for the Philadelphia 76ers in search of new players. When he discovers a powerful new star with a checkered past in Spain, Beren takes him to the United States without his team’s approval in hopes of proving to themselves that he has what it takes to enter the NBA.
Along with Sandler, the cast of Febrile activity includes Queen Latifah as Beren’s wife, Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Juancho Hernangómez, Jordan Hull and JoJo Siwa. Development on the film was first announced in early 2020, when Sandler signed on to star and produce the sports drama with NBA star LeBron James, with production set to begin the same year in Philadelphia. Febrile activity is preparing to make its debut on Netflix and now audiences are taking a fresh look at the upcoming film.
