After the transfer of service in January 2017, the federation had to detect in February of the same year young talents in seven leagues then to participate from March 27 to April 4, 2017 in the eliminations of the Afrobasket in Yaoundé in Cameroon, then to take part in the Fiba-World congress in China in June.

In November 2019, the FTBB participated in the combined Basketball World Cup (China 2019) and Afrobasket (2019) qualifiers, as well as the combined China 2019 and Afrobasket qualifiers in Luanda, Angola.

The same year, the federation organized the training of coaches, referees, medical teams, statisticians and markers. It should be noted that the FTBB has opened up certain training courses to other sister associations.

In 2021, the year has opened with a lot of prospects, including the restructuring of all existing leagues, the establishment of new structures and the establishment of youth championships in order to prepare for the African youth championship .

In May 2021, the president of the FTBB was named best manager by PADEV, during a ceremony in Kigali, Rwanda. The same year, the federation’s technical management set up two teams of young girls and boys aged 16 to take part in the final phase of the African Under-16 Championships in Cairo, Egypt. Back in Chad, the delegation was received by the President of the Transitional Military Council who honored it by granting a bus and a gymnasium to the young people.

In this year 2022, four leagues are in full championship.

For Bani Gata Ngoulou, the vision for Chadian basketball is to develop the discipline at the base with an emphasis on young people aged 14 to 19 but also the retraining of coaches and referees in order to have a core in training and refereeing. .
