It is no longer surprising that Balenciaga is in controversy for its eccentric, expensive and controversial garments. Now, the fashion firm has presented a collection of tennis shoes that emulate being broken and dirty, but that is the way the model is and it can already be pre-ordered online.
Through social networks, the creative director Demna Gvasalia unveiled the new line of sneakers ‘Paris sneake’, which will be available from this same month of May in some parts of the world.
The model Paris High Top Full Destroyed is the most striking, as it consists of tennis shoes that are reminiscent of the classic Converse ‘Chuck Taylor’ model, but they are full of tears as well as giving the effect of being dirty, discolored and breezy with paint. Up front, they say Balenciaga. There is in black and white and its price to pre-order them is 42 thousand Mexican pesos.
In addition, some models came out with a less luid effect but also less expensive. Such is the case of Paris High Top, which are similar to the previous ones, but hardly have signs of percussion. Its price is 14 thousand 500 pesos to pre-order and the color red is added.
Finally, there are the Mule Paris, a similar design on the front but appears to be cut off at the bottom, as well as apparently not holding the entire ask. Its price is 11 thousand 500 pesos also to pre-order.
Trying to generate an order, the page of Mexico indicates that the shoes would arrive no later than June 22. Its launch is dated from May 16 for Europe, the United States and the Middle East; and for May 23 in the case of Japan.
