Boston Celtics advance to Finals [Vidéo]

The Boston Celtics qualified for the NBA Finals last night by beating the Miami Heat 100-96 after a hotly contested Game 7.

Authors of a fantastic 2nd part of the season, the Celtics will have perfectly taken advantage of this momentum during these NBA Playoffs. Clinics against the Brooklyn Nets of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving which they easily erased 4-0, Ime Udoka’s men then followed up perfectly against the defending champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite a Giannis on fire, Boston had managed to win by crushing Game 7 of the series, proof that beyond talent, the workforce is also experienced and capable of handling delicate situations. Qualities that the Boston players were once again able to demonstrate against the Miami Heat, while the C’s traveled to Florida, to play a Game 7 synonymous with the NBA Finals for the winner.

Jayson Tatum and Jimmy Butler, the 2 stars of this clash

An epilogue at the height of the series

From the start, it is the Celtics who will take the lead, helped by a good exterior precision. Opposite, it is Jimmy Butler, exceptional during these Playoffs despite a leg injury that he handicapped in games 4 and 5, which will allow Miami to raise their heads and only point to 5 points from their opponents at halftime. Unfortunately, this XXL performance from Butler (35 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist) was not enough to overcome the Celtics collective, led by a very strong Tatum offensively (26 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists ) and a solid defense. However, this almost cost a lot at the end of the game for the Celtics who, despite a 13-point lead, suffered an 11-0 which allowed Miami to come back to 2 points. Jimmy Butler will have had the winning shot but will miss it, allowing Boston to qualify for the 22nd Finals in its history. The Celtics will meet the Golden State Warriors from June 2 for a particularly exciting style clash that promises us very big battles.
