Emanuel Aguilera: “Chivas is not just a player”
The Clásico Tapatío is just around the corner. Only one of them will still be alive heading to the Clausura 2022 Semifinals. The other will say goodbye to the tournament and watch the rest of the Liguilla on television. Emanuel Aguilera, central defender of the Atlas, recognizes the good moment that Alexis Vega is experiencing, but assures that Chivas is much more than just a footballer.
“We know, I personally know the moment that Alexis is experiencing, not only in this tournament, but he has been bringing it several tournaments ago, in his National Team as well. We know the great moment that he lives, but Chivas does not pass only for a player, but for his entire team. Chivas has very good, important, key players in their team, but we also have our own and we can counteract there. We know his qualities, his shortcomings, not only of him but of several players and the team, in matches, in videos, the material that the club provides us to be aware of everything. I think it will be a great match, where we impose ours, they theirs. It will be a great game to compete in and for the fans of both Chivas and Atlas to enjoy it to the fullest. That it be nothing more than a match, that they can enjoy an instance as it is that does not happen every day and that we can give the message of living a Clásico in peace, that they can enjoy it for what it is, that it be a party both in the Chivas stadium as in Jalisco”, he explained.
