At the start of the season in the Judo Bavarian League, SG Eltmann was a guest with a small squad at DJK Aschaffenburg.
After the two opening matches in the class up to 66 kg, it was 0:2 from the point of view of the Eltmann team. Eltmann won the two subsequent encounters up to 81 kg confidently and with a victory in the first heavyweight encounter over 90 kg, the SBU turned the game around.
n the two final encounters of the first round, the two 73kg fighters from Eltmann showed a tremendous performance and secured the 6:4 lead at break for SG Eltmann.
Eltmann pulls through to the end
Aschaffenburg started the second round with an opening win. But then Mohammadi, Dappert, Strau and Mller clinched four important wins in a row and at least the draw for Eltmann was secured.
But the parents didn’t want to be satisfied with that. The two Koserog brothers and Buchinger won their encounters unchallenged and thus secured victory for the SG with a final score of 13:7.
Max Strau contributed the icing on the cake from Eltmann’s point of view. He was voted “Man of the Match” by the judges.
