Earlier, the national team won the championship by defeating China 3-2 in the final of the 2022 tournament held in Bangkok on the 14th (Korean time). The national team played against China 8 times in the finals before this tournament and lost 7 times. In 2010, they only crossed China, which they met on the threshold of the championship in 1988, 1990, 1992, 2002, 2004, 2010, 2012, and 2016. After 12 years, they achieved a feat of defeating China.
