“It will lift everyone up”
The next day, the female juniors of Vosges Judo also achieved a very good course, ranking best third (in judo, the two teams or fighters eliminated in the semi-finals are guaranteed to climb on the third step of the podium, Ed.). A position which allows this group, however composed of many cadets (Mathilde Sangouard, Marion Louis, Lyse Albert, Lola Braulotte, Taliah Blackwell, Zoé Bourduge, Warda and Yosra Lamfarad were the judokas lined up this Sunday), to also win their ticket for France, which will take place on June 12.

“We thought we would qualify at least two out of four teams (a team of cadets and one of juniors also participated in these regional championships, editor’s note), so the objective has been achieved. For the junior boys (5th), there was not much missing but that’s how it was, ”reacted Régis Arnould, the technical director of Vosges Judo. “For the girls, it’s a real satisfaction because the season is super long, and some are starting to stick their tongues out. They are fighters that we will find in two, three years among the seniors so it’s good for the future, it will pull everyone up. But there, for the time being, it is also a great reward for all the teachers, the coaches of Vosges Judo. The Vosges judo therefore seems to have a bright future ahead of it.
