The Aztec group was made up of: Lino Muñoz, Job Castillo, Ramón Garrido and Andrés López. In their first duel, the nationals faced China, a team that has the best badminton player in the world, Cheng Long.
In the matches, Muñoz lost to Long 21-12 and 21-7, while Castillo was defeated by Tian Houwei 21-7 and 21-12, in the third, Ramón Garrido was defeated by Qiao Bin 21-11 and 21-8. In doubles, the tricolors also lost both matches.
On the second date, the rival of the ‘tricolor’, was Japan, in the same way the nationals could not take the victory in any match. The Orientals obtained a total of 210 units for the 98 points scored by the Mexicans.
The national representatives ended their participation against the French squad, where the participation of the Europeans stood out, after winning all the matches.
