The name of Quebecer Abraham Toro has been placed on the 10-day injured list by the Seattle Mariners.

Toro was injured Saturday night after contact with Adam Frazier on a defensive play. He had eventually left the meeting. The team clarified after the match that it was a left shoulder injury.
This season, Toro is batting .179 and has hit six homers. After a tougher start to the season, Toro has been doing well lately.
Seattle completes its four-game series against the Red Sox this afternoon. The Mariners will try to avoid the sweep after losing the first three games.
