For the first time since Super Bowl LV, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes will cross swords in the fourth week of activity in the NFL.
On October 2, during the classic Sunday night game, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will receive a visit from the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs won the last game between the two teams, at the Super Bowl, by a score of 31-9.
Brady and Mahomes have faced each other five times in their career. The veteran has the advantage with a record of three wins and two losses against Mahomes.
45-year-old Brady will play a third season under the hot Florida sun. He had the best campaign of his career with 5,316 passing yards in 2021.
For his part, Mahomes led his team to the American Conference championship game for the fourth consecutive year. The Chiefs, however, lowered their flag to the Cincinnati Bengals.
With the unveiling of the calendar in the evening, certain confrontations are to be remembered. The Los Angeles Rams, Super Bowl champions, will begin their campaign against the Buffalo Bills.
During this first week of activities, it will be a reunion between Russell Wilson and the Seahawks since the quarterback and the Denver Broncos will be the opponents of the Seattle team.
Among some intriguing matches, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Chargers will face off against the Las Vegas Raiders.
