Norris will wear a basketball-inspired helmet at Miami GP

The driver of the McLaren team, Lando Norris caught the eye during the first days in Miami before the Grand Prixbecause he wore a peculiar helmet inspired by a basketball.

Miami -site of the next Formula 1 Grand Prix- has particular characteristics, which they allowed the teams to bring out quite peculiar editions of helmets for the race.

Norris showed off his helmet on social media, as well as at the press conference prior to the start of the activities of the Miami Grand Prix. It is worth mentioning that basketball is one of the most popular sports in the United States.

“Slammed,” he wrote. Norris on his Twitter account, alluding to basketball scores.

Lando Norris comes from achieving the podium at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prixwhere he finished in third place, behind Max Verstappen and Sergio Checo Pérez.

For its part, Lando Norris is in sixth position in the Formula 1 drivers’ championship with 35 units.
