Pablo Abián and Cristina Teruel have been proclaimed champions of Spain in badmintonin the tournament held at the Francisco Fernández Ochoa sports center in Madrid, by beating Enrique Peñalver and Laura Santosrespectively.
Abián defeated Peñalver 21-19 and 21-16, in 52 minutes of the match, achieving his fifteenth individual Spanish championship.
Cristina Teruelwho will turn 17 on June 12, won his first absolute national title by beating Laura Santos 15-21, 24-22 and 21-12, in 1 hour and 6 minutes.
