Pedro Rodríguez is now a Warrior

The experienced closer Pedro Rodríguez was selected in the draft of players belonging to the Mexican Baseball League in 2021 by Samanes de Aragua, although days later he was released after not being able to reach an agreement for his participation in the previous season. Being available since that tour, he was selected this time by Guerreros del Caribe.

The Major League of Professional Baseball finished its third date and different franchises have already made their moves in the DRAFT like every Monday. Guerreros del Caribe finished first together with Senadores de Caracas. Leaders and Mariners are equal in third position with a difference of one game from the leaders.

According to this, only the following teams participated in the DRAFT: Warriors, Dolphins, Centaurs and Leaders. Likewise, the groups that were part of the elections only made one choice:

  1. Caribbean Warriors: Pedro Rodriguez (RHP)
  2. Dolphins – Robinson Escobar (RHP)
  3. Centaurs of La Guaira: Anthony Montilla (RHP)
  4. Miranda Leaders: Nicol Parra (OF)

Caciques, Marineros, Senadores and Samanes passed in the three rounds allowed in the weekly drafts.

In addition, it was a very busy day with some changes between the following teams.

– Warriors received Arcenio León (LD) for Luis Chirinos (LD) who passes to the Samanes de Aragua.

– Caciques received Luis Villegas (C) from the Centauros for Santiago Rincon (UT).

– Leaders was made of the services of Samir Vivas (LD) from Centauros by Eduardo Sosa (OF).

The team with the most movement this day was Centauros de La Guaira, which in the evening made a change with Guerreros del Caribe, sending José Duarte (OF) to the tropical team for pitcher Henrry Medina (LD).
