Student Championships for badminton at the State Scientific High School “A.Volta”: excellent performance by the students of the “Campanella” boarding school in Reggio Calabria
On 29 April at the Liceo Scientifico Statale “A.Volta” in Reggio Calabria the provincial stages of the Student Championships took place for badminton, a sport of Anglo-Saxon origin that is not practiced in our city but which requires, in addition to good athletic preparation, great intuition, reaction speed and tension management. The pupils of the Second Level Secondary School of the National State Boarding School “T. Campanella ”, led by Prof. Calogero Maria Cristina and Ippolito Valentina, distinguished themselves for their competitive spirit and respect for the rules and for the opponent, competing with excellent performances for both the female and male categories.
