The mission of this antenna proposed by the sports department is to welcome and support people wishing to resume physical activity. Health sport is mainly aimed at people who are far from practicing sport because they suffer from chronic illness, long-term illness, have a minimal functional limitation, or are sedentary or advanced in age. After a visit to the doctor and an individual interview, the Maison sport-santé offers to guide the people concerned towards an appropriate physical activity.

In place in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles since 1is March, prescription sports beneficiaries welcomed by the City’s sports department have already resumed physical activity.
