The tests of the School Games are inaugurated in the Centennial – El Sol de Cuernavaca

The 2022 Basic Education School Sports Games were inaugurated at Cuernavaca’s Centennial Stadium by State President Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo, accompanied by Germán Villa Castañeda, director of the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture,

The sports specialties in the primary sector that are being handled are soccer, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, taekwondo, handball, badminton, all in both branches for men and women, but there is baseball only for men.

In primary athletics, 75-meter dashes, 150-meter dashes, 300-meter dashes, and 60-meter dashes are handled. In 4×75 meter flat relay, long jump, shot put, discus throw, baseball throw, all in men’s and women’s, also the triathlon goes in men’s and women’s.

In chess they are in the men’s and women’s branch and in combined that has become a great attraction in the tables or game boards, but also in all other sports since due to the pandemic it had not been played and now young people enter participate with great enthusiasm.

Regarding secondary, athletics is divided into track events and field events, in 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter dash, 1500 meter dash, and 4×100 relay.

In the field tests high jump, long jump, shot put and discus throw, one more test in ezathlon which is high jump, long jump, run 100 meters, run 800 meters, throw baseball and bullet drive, there is also chess and taekwondo.

After the sports games were inaugurated, the physical education teachers took possession of their work areas and began with the track and field tests where all the students wanted to demonstrate why they were in this place.

Also present at the inauguration were Luis Arturo Cornejo Alatorre Secretary of Education, Víctor Mercado of the Ministry of Mobility and Transport, Eliasin Salgado Director of the IEBEM, the deputy director of Physical Education Dr. Miguel Castañeda Santana and the representative of section 19 of the teachers’ union Gabriela Banon Estrada.
