With three wins, the 3×3 basketball team of the men’s branch of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua began its participation in what were the activities of day 9 of the National Universiade UACJ 2022 with what is the beginning with the right foot in this discipline sports and its access to the quarterfinal round.
In their first match, the Chihuahuan university students had to work hard when facing Universidad del Bajío, where after an intense and close match, the victory went to UACH by a tight score of 18 to 15 points.
For their second match, those led by Alfonso “Pocho” Araiza, controlled the actions and pressure of their rivals from the representative of the University of Guadalajara to take the second victory when the final figures were 21-15.
Finally, in the third and last outing of the Chihuahuans on this first day, they faced the group from the Universidad Modelo Mérida, which they won by final score of 21 points to 15.

In this way, the Chihuahuan university students begin their journey in this maximum student sports fair at the national level, with the members of the group being Luis Soto Loya, Nicolás Balderrama Loya, Ricardo Abraham Sáenz Chacón and Marcelo Muñoz Nevarez.
