Two days of archery competition in Quimperlé – Quimperlé

After two years of waiting, the archery association of Quimperlé (Ataq) will finally be able to organize the Finistère championship on the ground adjoining the Jean-Charter stadium, in Kerbertrand, where nearly a hundred archers are expected for two days of competition, this Saturday 21 and this Sunday 22 May.

Two outdoor archery events will be organized on international (70m) and national (50m) distances. Everything will start on Saturday, from 2.45 p.m., with a traditional but qualifying competition for the French championships which will be held until 6 p.m.

The Quimperlois will defend their title

The next day, Sunday, the cover will be restored from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the Finistère championship. “It is a competition that we were supposed to organize in 2020 and which has been postponed twice because of the covid. We can finally welcome him, ”explains Mikaël Gloaguen, president of Ataq.

The Quimperlois, team champions of Finistère in 2019, will defend their title with Mikaël Gloaguen, Stefen Pothier and Pierre-Yves Dubourg. “We will also have a lot of young people involved. We are very happy with the number of participants with around thirty on Saturday and around sixty on Sunday”.
