– Deservedly another title arrives for the Sangiorgese society of the shared youth sector. The boys led by Coach Francesco Amoroso and Davide Sansolini in the last championship match, a very final to assign the prestigious regional title of the Under 15 Gold Championship of the National Basketball Federation, conquered the parquet of the traditional Baia Flaminia sports hall.
The proportion of the result must not deceive, the game with great merit of the opponents was in balance until the last quarter, with the visiting team making minimal advantages immediately reduced by the verve of the Pesaro boys, supported by numerous fans and noisy supporters who filled the stands, for a great youth sport show.
The Virtus boys returned to the field in the last quarter with great concentration, with 2 consecutive triples they gave the decisive push to the match and then controlled until the end.
It was a team performance for the Virtus boys with a great contribution from all those who took the field, not surprisingly almost all of them on the scoresheet with points scored and with great talent.
A race that the Sangiorgesi have faced in the best way after a path and progression of the game, originating from the great daily work made of commitment and self-denial for a great applause to the athletes and to all the technical staff.
A great satisfaction for the club that after the regional titles won last season with the under 16 and under 18, also this season reaches ambitious goals with the victory in recent days of the Centenary Cup with the Under 17 and with the prestigious regional title today.
A youth sporting reality that puts the Sangiorgesi colors of Virtus in great evidence in regional basketball in the presence of much more important realities for unrivaled demographic capacity.
Now a little break to celebrate the achievements, and then immediately dive back into the summer programming and the organization of the next sporting season.
