Danilho Doekhi exchanges Vitesse for Union Berlin. The 23-year-old defender, captain in Arnhem this season, has signed a multi-year contract with the number five of the Bundesliga.
Doekhi leaves Arnhem transfer-free and has signed with the German club for four years. Union will play in the Europa League next season, while it already played in the Conference League this season, with Feyenoord being one of the opponents in the group stage.
Doekhi came over from Ajax in the summer of 2018. He played 136 matches for the Arnhem team, but the Rotterdammer can add a few more.
