A special match to mark the 50th anniversary of the Junior Elite Eagles

This Thursday, June 2, the Aigles Junior Élite organization will mark the 50th anniversary of minor baseball in Trois-Rivières at Quillorama Stadium.

This game night will begin at 7:30 p.m. in which the Eagles will face their rivals, the Diamonds of Quebec.

About fifty former players will be present for the occasion. All alumni are also invited to attend the match for free. Several coaches who have marked the history of minor baseball will also be there.

“When I was younger, my dream was to play for the Aigles Junior one day. Not only did I have the chance to achieve it, but Réal Lajoie also offered me the privilege of succeeding my two friends and mentors, Rémi Doucet and Mathieu Hamelin. My love affair with the Eagles has lasted twenty years, and I am extremely proud and grateful to have had the chance to contribute to this tradition of excellence which has continued for 50 years”, testifies the former director general and head coach, Jean-Philippe Lemay.
