Telekom is now offering a complete sports package MagentaTV on. Under the name “MagentaTV MegaSport”, the sports packages from the streaming providers WOW (formerly Sky Ticket) and DAZN can be combined with the content of MagentaSport.
The new MagentaSport option then offers, among other things, access to the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga on Saturday, the DFB Cup and the Premier League via WOW as well as the Friday and Sunday Bundesliga games, the UEFA Champions League and the European top -Leagues LaLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1 via DAZN. The MagentaSport content is also included, including all games from the European Basketball Championship and the World Cup. On top of that, sports offers such as the 3rd division, the German ice hockey league, the women’s national league, Formula 1, the handball national league as well as the NHL, NBA and NFL are included in the packages.
With the ‘MegaSport Option’ we are further establishing MagentaTV as a home for all sports enthusiasts. We are thus consistently continuing our strategy and bundling all relevant providers on our TV platform.
While the individual subscriptions included would all cost EUR 51.94 per month, the MagentaTV package is available as an annual subscription at introductory prices starting at EUR 45 per month. As part of a promotion, customers who book the additional option by August 31 pay only 39 euros per month for the first year. The monthly price should then rise to 48 euros, but the option can also be canceled at any time from the 13th month.
In addition, DAZN will also be available from August on MagentaTV with its two linear TV channels, which will then also be integrated into the service’s program guide. The live sports channels from WOW are also to be integrated into the EPG on MagentaTV devices in addition to being available via the WOW app at the start of the season.
