Luis Campos’ PSG can officially recruit since this Friday and is targeting between 4 and 5 players according to sources, including a new central defender. Bremer (Torino) and Sven Botman (LOSC) have been associated with PSG in recent weeks, but the most concrete lead seems to lead to Milan Skriniar, out of contract at Inter Milan in June 2023.
Inter Milan claim €70m for Skriniar
Parisian interest in the 27-year-old Slovak central defender was revealed by Le Parisien before being confirmed by several sources in France and Italy. Yesterday, La Gazzetta dello Sport explained that Inter Milan demanded more than 40 M€ for their player. This Friday, the Italian daily reveals that PSG has made an initial offer of €50 million. An offer refused by Inter, which would claim 70 M€ according to this same source.
Inter Milan aims to end its summer transfer window with a positive balance of €60m. Wishing to recover Romelu Lukaku and sign Paulo Dybala (who is free), the vice-champion of Italy will have to make at least one big sale, if not two. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter could also sell their Dutch right piston Denzel Dumfries, courted by Chelsea. Chelsea who is also interested in Skriniar according to the pink paper daily.
