Thibaud Verlinden is already at his sixth (!) professional club at the age of 22, and yet the attacker is best known as ‘the son of’ Dany Verlinden (58), the former goalkeeper of Lierse and Club Brugge. ‘Verlinden junior’ – who signed a two-year contract with an option for an extra year at the Kiel on Friday – finally wants to change that. “Beerschot came at the right time.
