City of Wichita observes Juneteenth

WICHITA, Kan. (Telemundo Kansas) – In commemoration of Juneteenth, Wichita city services will be closed or have special hours.

On Saturday, June 18, the Mid-American All Indian Museum will not open its doors the same as CityArts on June 19.

On Monday, there will be no transit department services through the city and the following will be closed: City Hall, Community Resource Centers, Libraries, Botanica, Wichita Art Museum, Great Plains Nature Center, WATER Center, and the offices of the parks, transit, and environmental health.

The following sites will maintain their regular hours: OJ Watson Park, Golf Courses, Riverside Tennis Center, Public Pools, Animal Shelter and Landfill.
