Quebec Cup

Also in Rivière-du-Loup this weekend, 92 Dauphins swimmers took part in the Quebec Cup and a novice competition. They won no less than 192 medals (61-63-68). Eight club records and one regional record were broken.

Among the 13-14 year olds, Emma Ducharme particularly stood out with the regional record in the 100m butterfly (1:05.00) and four club records in the 100m breaststroke (1:17.24 – record dating from 1980), 100m freestyle (1: 00.41) in addition to two all-age records in the 100m backstroke (1:05.37) and 200m backstroke (2:21.26).

The other four club records were achieved by Tommy Bélanger in the 200m butterfly (11-12 years 2:35.87), Éli Lebel in the 100m breaststroke (1:07.39) and 200m breaststroke (2:32.40), as well as Mathis Bourbonnais in the 800m free (8:50.71).
