Evan Germain, a recurve archer in the countryside – Plourin-lès-Morlaix

Within the various categories of archery, there is one that the junior Evan Germain, a member of the Compagnie d’arc de Plourin-lès-Morlaix, perfectly masters. While playing in recurve bow, he is one of the archery specialists “in the field”. This discipline is practiced on a multi-target course, on all types of terrain: woods and forests, fields and even downtown. The ground is not always flat, and the targets are at varying distances that the archer must estimate, within a limited time: he only has three minutes to shoot three arrows.

British team champions

The young Evan has won all the Finistère competitions in which he has participated since the start of the season: Riec-sur-Belon and Logonna-Daoulas in April, Guilers in May. At the end of the Brittany championship, which took place in the city center of Quimper on May 29, Evan and his two accomplices, Félicien Crevoisier, in barebow or barebow in senior 1 and Thomas Lafaye, in compound senior 2, won the team competition.

Next home deadline

It should be noted that individually, the latter two are champions of Brittany in their category, excellent results which can easily be explained by the regular work carried out in the woods of the club, located in Plougonven. Next deadline at home, on June 19, with the Brittany team championship.
