FCN: That’s why coach Robert Klauss usually wants to train without spectators – 2nd Bundesliga

What does Robert Klauss (37) have to hide?

Immediately after the first public training session, the club coach announced that the doors to the sports park would be closed to fans and journalists again in the next few days.

Klauss: “When we are here in Nuremberg, there is only one public session per week. But in South Tyrol everything will be open.”

Is he planning the ascent in secret?

Before the corona pandemic, all units at 1. FC Nürnberg were always open to the public in the first few weeks of summer preparation. The competitors in the 2nd league are also much closer to the people than in Nuremberg.

At all traditional clubs (HSV, Düsseldorf, Hanover, St. Pauli or Fürth) every or at least almost every training session in the summer preparation is open to the public.

But why does Klauss want to train secretly so often?

In the spring, when asked by BILD, he explained: “A baker doesn’t want to watch himself at work either lshafts.”

ATTENTION: After the reporting on Monday there was a rethinking, at least for this training week. Club coach Robert Klauß (37) is now training publicly on Thursday (11 a.m.).
