Too big instead of too small…
Camila Giorgi (30) was eliminated in the fourth round of the French Open on Monday. The Italian clearly lost in two sets 2:6, 2:6 against Darja Kassatkina (25/Russia).
Nevertheless, Giorgi caused a lot of excitement in Paris. Even the referee intervened when she defeated Aryna Sabalenka (24/Belarus) at the weekend. The reason: Giorgi’s outfit!
What the referee criticized: the De’Longhi logo on her tennis dress was too big. Luckily for Giorgi: Because she supposedly didn’t have any clothes to change with, she was still allowed to compete. This is reported by the Spanish sports newspaper “Marca”.
It wasn’t the first time the Italian posed for her outfit. Shortly before her appearance at Wimbledon last year, hot photos of Giorgi caused a stir.
